Activities regarding the “Banco de Alimentos”
In primary school we have been doing activities related to the “Banco de Alimentos”.
Some have received some classes from the “Banco de Alimentos” and learned to prepare and classify the food.
In many classes we’ve taken the opportunity of this campaign to learn new concepts such as mass and weight, length mesures, equivalences, calculations and many others.
By coincidence during the excursion to the city center the class of P V run into the “Banco de Alimentos” who were delivering food to the meal center in Santa Anna.
But it hasn’t all just been about the “Banco de Alimentos”, we have also payed some games such as a divisions challenge, dictation with relays, robotics and a mathematics bingo.
And we were honoured with a visit: Judith de la Rosa, main actress in the documentary “Un paso de gigante”, came to show us the documentary and talk to us about the marine fauna and the climate change. There is so much to be done!
