Sports day

During these last few months sports have remained just as important as they were when we were at school (if not more). We’ve had plenty of interactive classes online and we could not do without our annual Sports Day.

This year it has consisted of conferences and interviews with world-renowned athletes who are also former students of Aula. They talked about their professional careers and our students had the chance to ask them any questions they wanted:

• Javier Garrido, volleyball player in the Spanish Super League
• Laia Palau, Olympic basketball player, silver medalist in the world championships, and gold, silver and bronze medalist in the European Championships
• Josep Maria Bartomeu, chairman and president of FC Barcelona
• Gerard Gomila, basketball player, European Junior champion and MVP of the final
• Joan Herp, Olympic sailor, Rio de Janeiro Olympics

Also some of our current baccalaureate students prepared a conference about sports and studies based on basketball, soccer and handball.
